Programme Outcomes

On successful completion of this programme the learner will be able to :

PO1Knowledge - Breadth
 (a)Demonstrate a broad knowledge of the theory of, and the practical methodology applicable to, Bioanalytical techniques. Understand and utilize the concepts of statistics and validation in Bioanalysis. Select and interpret current literature in the design of a Bioanalytical project.
PO2Knowledge - Kind
 (a)Demonstrate a detailed knowledge of Bioanalysis (bio-instrumentation, biochemical analysis, microbiology and molecular biology). Apply current methodology in Bioanalysis. Validate Bioanalytical processes. Be conversant with current and emerging knowledge and techniques in Bioanalysis.
PO3Skill - Range
 (a)Apply skills related to the operation of chromatographic and spectroscopic systems. Use techniques relevant to industry, medicine and research in the area of Bioanalytical Science. Design, execute and report on a statistical project. Work effectively individually or with others in a goal-orientated mode.
