Module Description:This module aims to provide the student with an understanding of the requirements and possible problem areas in technology transfer and through the knowledge provided possible ways to overcome the difficulties.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Design a scale up protocol from bench top to large pilot scale
LO2 Trouble shoot a scale up procedure
LO3 Prepare a technology transfer protocol for a pharmaceutical finished product.
LO4 Design a cleaning validation protocol necessary for technology transfer
LO5 Compare raw material sources and assess their chemical and physical comparability.
LO6 Design validation protocol for an Aseptic Processing suite including the sterilisation equipment
