Module Description:This module aims to provide students with an in depth knowledge of the general principles of management. This knowledge provides the student with a grounding in the functional requirements of management.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Demonstrate knowledge of traditional and conventional management approaches.
LO2 Appreciate the importance of planning and decision making in management.
LO3 Identify other key functions of management, including; organising, staffing, leading and controlling.
LO4 Perform a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats Analysis.
