Module Description:The aim of the Industrial Applications Module is to develop the students knowledge of specific pharmaceutical/chemical industry and to develop in the students an understanding of the organization, its procedures, good manufacturing practice and technology.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Describe Good Manufacturing Practice and Technologies as implemented an enterprise.
LO2 Describe the quality assurance requirements, control and practice in an enterprise.
LO3 Describe the importance of safety in the workplace and describe the safety procedures in operation an enterprise.
LO4 Apply Current Information Technology utilized within the industry.
LO5 Describe the nature of Chemical API, Finished dosage and Biotechnology facilities.
