Module Description:This module aims to provide the student with the knowledge to understand and maintain clean room environments.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Identify the common sources of contaminants.
LO2 Apply the fundamental steps of aseptic practice.
LO3 Use a wide range of cleaning agents and know when to apply them.
LO4 Define and apply the basis of cleaning validation.
LO5 Work in a clean-room environment.
LO6 Describe the basis of clean-room operation.
LO7 Monitor the clean-room environment.
LO8 Decontaminate the clean-room.
