Module Description:The purpose of this semester 2 module is to advance the understanding of the law in relation to the ownership of property and its relevance to estate agency practice.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Identify the legal interests in Land.
LO2 Apply the law in relation to land ownership, purchase and lease.
LO3 Identify and discuss key issues in a lease.
LO4 Describe and examine the relationship between landlord and tenant
LO5 Understand the Law of Succession and how it affects the disposition of land by will.
LO6 Explain the rights and obligations of the parties under a commercial lease.
