Module Description:This module aims to provide the student with with the theoretical and practical fundamentals of scale up and process development issues and their in processes in the pharmaceutical industry.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Recognise the significance of the Pre-scale up research, be able to problem solve some scale-up problems and know the limitations of pre-scale research.
LO2 Understand the elements of process development.
LO3 Play an effective role in a HAZOP study.
LO4 Solve impurity problems systematically.
