Module Description:To gain a systematic understanding of the design issues for mobile applications, to critically evaluate state of the art mobile platform libraries and frameworks, and to be able to design and develop applications for these frameworks.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Critically analyse the major architectural design issues for mobile applications
LO2 Apply accepted design principles to mobile applications
LO3 Discuss the current challenges relating to the delivery of content to mobile devices
LO4 Critically evaluate the various development platforms and frameworks for mobile devices
LO5 Be able to design and develop applications for the state of the art mobile development platforms
