Module Description:This module requires a knowledge and comprehension of Management Accounting 1. The module aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the management accounting systems and techniques employed by the Management Accountant. This knowledge provides the student with techniques relevant to problem solving in a work situation.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Describe and explain the main theories, concepts and knowledge which underpins Management Accounting to solve problems and apply solutions.
LO2 Demonstrate the costing of products and services using Management Accounting techniques.
LO3 Be able to contribute to decision making in the modern business environment using Management Accounting techniques and appraisal tools.
LO4 Use Management Accounting techniques to compute and interpret quantitative results.
