Module Description:The aim of this module is to enable Hospitality and Tourism students to understand the importance of evolving technologies for their sector, reinforced by employing an array of usable practical design skills in web development, desktop publishing and spreadsheets modelling pertinent to the sector's digital breadth.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Design, consolidate and apply spreadsheet models
LO2 Demonstrate a command of HTML & CSS to write and edit code.
LO3 Work as part of a team to research, co-operate and develop a professional peer communication strategy.
LO4 Evaluate how digital media & emerging technologies enhance and challenge the hospitality & tourism sector.
LO5 Analyse, evaluate and design media that adheres to professional standards and conventions.
