Module Description:This module aims to provide the student with the ability to interpret and comply with the regulations governing the control of food ingredients.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Describe the quality management systems for ingredients and components.
LO2 Identify the relevant EU regulatory, industrial and retailer standards in the food industry.
LO3 Define the legal implications of non-conformance
LO4 Describe the QC testing pathway in food manufacturing industry.
LO5 Comply with Food Hygiene standards Level 1 and Level 2
