Module Description:This module aims to develop the student’s design skills as applied to modern CAD packages. The student is provided with the opportunity of using an industry standard application providing for schematic capture, simulation and design of a printed circuit board (PCB).
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Create a schematic diagram of electronic circuit design.
LO2 Simulate and verify electronic circuits using a circuit simulation tool.
LO3 Create and verify PCB layout designs, using a PCB layout tool.
