Module Description:The aim of this module is to provide the student with key grammatical structures and relevant vocabulary necessary to comprehend and communicate in Spanish and to understand the socio-cultural and professional environment of Spain and other Spanish speaking countries consistent with level A1 of the Common European Framework for Language Learning.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Converse in Spanish on topics of a general and course-specific nature.
LO2 Read and demonstrate an understanding of selected articles in Spanish.
LO3 Write short passages in Spanish.
LO4 Illustrate an understanding of selected audio and video materials of both a general and subject-specific nature.
LO5 Consider, discuss and write about aspects of Spanish society and culture.
