Module Description:The aim of this module is to further familiarise learners with grammatical structures and relevant vocabulary necessary to comprehend and communicate in Spanish and to understand the socio-cultural & professional environment of Spain and Spanish speaking countries consistent with level A1/2 of the Common European Framework for Language Learning.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Converse in Spanish on topics of a general and specific nature.
LO2 Read and demonstrate an understanding of selected articles in Spanish.
LO3 Write short passages accurately in Spanish using correct structures and some idiomatic expressions.
LO4 Illustrate an understanding of selected audio and video materials of a general & subject-specific nature.
LO5 Consider, discuss, and write about aspects of Spanish society and culture.
