Module Description:This elective aims to give the student a knowledge of operating systems. It aims to allow the student to implement and test programs that access resources using various system calls.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Write and control processes and threads on the Linux operating system
LO2 Administer common operating system functions using Shell Scripting
LO3 Explain common operating system functions and subsystems behaviour.
LO4 Perform remote compilation and debug on a Linux Single Board Computer.
