On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Describe the structure of the prokaryotic cell
LO2 Carry out the microbial aseptic technique
LO3 Identify key principles of microbes as agents of disease.
LO4 Evaluate the role of various packaging materials
LO5 Explain viral classification and means of reproduction
