Module Description:In this final capstone module, emphasis is placed on developing research skills, holistic thinking and a solution focus. These skills shall evolve through the medium of creating a comprehensive business solution, model or plan for a small- to medium-sized enterprise (SME) to enter, compete and sustain viability in an international market with an innovative business solution. The module pays attention to the drivers of sucess in recognising viability opportunities and limitations.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Synthesise primary and secondary research to formulate and articulate ideas and solutions.
LO2 Identify and investigate the viability of a new business opportunity or solution.
LO3 Summarise and execute the key issues involved in a new business proposal.
LO4 Demonstrate capability in assessing the attractiveness of different territories,
LO5 Employ techniques for analysing research.
LO6 Ascertain the importance and value of success and failure.
