Module Description:To provide students with a detailed understanding of business processes, the enterprise systems that enable them and the data structures that underpin them.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Examine the roles that enterprise systems play in the execution of business processes.
LO2 Apply tools and techniques to document key orginsational processes.
LO3 Discuss the elements of Information Management that are relevant to a business Knowledge worker.
LO4 Create meaningful management information from external data sources using appropriate tools.
LO5 Present reports to various audience levels using appropriate software.

Continuous Assessment The module assessment strategy supports the program assessment strategy by employing a combination of summative and formative assessment techniques that provide feedback and feedforward of learning, for learning and as learning (T&L Forum 2017). Assessment tasks can include skills tests, research projects, problem based projects and exams. Evidence of learning may be provided through presentation of findings, process documentation and interviews. Judgement of learning is based against lecturer developed and/or learner negotiated criteria.
