Module Description:The aim of this module is to enable the student to undertake independent research and study into an approved subject area under the guidance of an academic supervisor. This module challenges the student to apply and extend on the theoretical and analytical frameworks addressed through the programme in the study of their particular subject area.

On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Write a coherent analysis and synthesis of source materials
LO2 Demonstrate an ability to identify and apply appropriate research methodologies
LO3 Demonstrate the linguistic, conceptual and analytical skills necessary to engage in detailed analysis of their chosen theme
