Module Description:The purpose of this module is to give students the opportunity to work in teams and complete a project set by industry. This is an elective module and in order to be considered, enrolling students must achieve a GPA of at least 2.50 in semester 5 of the programme, as well as satisfying other criteria such as attendance and engagement with the course.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Critically assess a brief from a company in order to devise a strategy that will solve the problem posed.
LO2 Conduct research in order to gain a deeper insight into the brief.
LO3 Create and execute a concept that will satisfy the brief.
LO4 Devise a media plan in excel.
LO5 Write a detailed strategy document that fully responds to the brief.
LO6 Present creative concepts, media plan and strategy to industry representatives.
LO7 Demonstrate an ability to contribute to a fully functioning team.
