Module Description:The aim of this module is to consolidate the student's knowledge of the grammatical structures and relevant vocabulary necessary to comprehend, communicate and function with greater ease and accuracy in German and to understand the socio-cultural, professional and academic environments of Germany and other German speaking countries consistent with Level A1+/A2 of the Common European Framework for Language Learning.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Converse more competently in German on topics of a general, specific and professional nature
LO2 Read and demonstrate an understanding of articles of both a general and subject specific nature
LO3 Illustrate comprehension of selected audiovisual materials of a general and subject specific nature
LO4 Write accurately in German on a range of topics
LO5 Present and discuss selected materials relating to the socio-cultural and/or social media domain
