Module Description:To bring all students to a practical level of competency in Information Systems tools, including productivity software as a pre-requisite for the subsequent modules.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Indicate a competency in designing and producing professional standard academic reports & presentations.
LO2 Be competent in the use of a computer, management of files, networks, remote access, backup strategies, and virtual learning resources.
LO3 Demonstrate an introductory knowledge of essential I.T. concepts, including storage, input/output, social media, security & internet technologies.
LO4 Engage in group discourse, study & presentation of research findings
