Module Description:This module aims to build on the knowledge of basic accounting concepts, terminology, principles and formats acquired in Financial Accounting 1. In particular it aims to improve knowledge of accounts preparation for a range of different types of business.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Prepare financial statements for a variety of organisations from a trial balance
LO2 Prepare financial statements from incomplete records
LO3 Analyse the financial performance of businesses through the use of ratios
LO4 Write up and balance specified ledger accounts
