Module Description:The aim of this module is to build and further develop socio-cultural and liguistic competencies acquired to date, to enable the student to comprehend , communicate and interact in increasingly specialized situations with a degree of fluency consistent with level B1/B2 of the Common European Framework for Language Learning
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Converse confidently and with a degree of spontaneity and fluency on topics of a social, cultural and proessional nature
LO2 Participate actively and effectively in discussions and presentations in French at an advanced level
LO3 Analyse and translate texts of both a specialized and general nature
LO4 Write an extended assignment in French on a topic relating to core-subject area
