Module Description:The aim of this module is to build on and further develop socio-cultural and linguistic competencies acquired to date , to enable the student to comprehend, communicate and interact in increasingly specialised situations with a degree of fluency consistent with Level B1/B2 of teh Common European Frameowrk for Language Learning.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Converse with increase confidence and fluency on topics of a social and professional nature
LO2 Participate actively and effectively in discussions and presentations in French at an advanced level
LO3 Analyse and translate texts of both a specialised and general nature
LO4 Write an extended assignment in French on a topic relating to a core subject area
