Module Description:Cloud Computing and IOT will continue to grow dramatically. From mobile phone usage to unattended sensors/devices the security of device to server communications has become a key factor in the success or failure of new cloud/IOT ventures. This module gives all the necessary grounding to a student who wishes to understand more about Security for the Cloud and IOT
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the key concepts of the Internet of Things and enabling technologies
LO2 Critically evaluate security features and mechanisms in operating systems typically used on both Cloud and IOT systems
LO3 Evaluate a network system with respect to its vulnerability to security attacks.
LO4 Critically evaluate modern cryptography and related techniques
