Module Description:To provide the student with techniques for the collection, interpretation and application of statistical data.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Describe large data-sets using graphs, summary statistics and words.
LO2 Model processes using probability distributions.
LO3 Estimate population parameters using samples.
LO4 Formulate and test hypotheses.
LO5 Analyse relationships between variables.
LO6 Control processes using SPC charts.
