Module Description:The focus of this module is employability. It is intended that students will be enabled through practical application to create and or enhance their C.V.'s and gain interview, communication and presentation skills. With the global expansion of businesses and cultural diversity, there is an increase in demand for graduates with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Demonstrate capability in assessing the job market environment.
LO2 Create a contemporary resume and a self branding profile. .
LO3 Demonstrate capability and core skills in differing interview contexts.
LO4 Present both verbal and written information in a coherent, error free and suitable format.
LO5 Recognize and deal with issues / problems with communication situations stemming from or other communicatio barriers.
LO6 Develop an understanding of cross functional communication.
