Module Description:The aim of this module is to critically analyse the food and drink tourism sector in Ireland and abroad and to examine how trends in food and drink tourism can impact on the hospitality and tourism sector in general and future opportunities for growth in particular
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Link the nature, significance and development of food and drink tourism
LO2 Critically evaluate the key elements of food and drink tourism products and analyse future trends in the sector
LO3 Evaluate national and international food and drink tourism champions and analyse key reasons for success
LO4 Evidence an understanding of the potential for growth of future food and drink tourism products in Ireland and abroad
