Module Description:This module aims to provide students with a basic understanding of the role of management accounting techniques in the management of an enterprise. The student should be able to apply management accounting methods for costing products and services. This knowledge provides the student with techniques relevant to problems solving in a real work situations.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Describe and explain the main theories, concepts and knowledge which underpin Management Accounting to solve problems and apply solutions.
LO2 Use Management Accounting techniques to cost products, jobs and services for customer.
LO3 Discuss and evaluate the role of the Management Accountant in the modern business environment.
