Module Description:The module aim is to provide students with an in-depth comprehension of the principles, foundations and process of organisational development and change. The modules main objective is to provide the students with a comprehensive understanding of formulation and implementation guidelines and issues for successful Change Management Strategies.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of organizational development.
LO2 Explain the foundations of organisational development and transformation.
LO3 Demonstrate an understanding of the fundamental interventions in Change Management.
LO4 Identify and evaluate the implementation guidelines and issues for successful change management strategies.
LO5 Formulate a change strategy for an organization that integrates the diverse disciplines in a way that is creative and disciplined.

Continuous Assessment The continuous assessment will take the form of a group/individual project - an outline of which will be given the first week of term. It will consist of the development of a strategic audit framework to apply to an organization, either in the public or private sector that has undergone change in the recent past. The application of the strategic audit framework will result in the development of a case study on the organization's approach to change, using three change models to evaluate the approach used. There will be a number of workshop type sessions held prior to the submission date to assist and guide the students in the completion of their project. 1,2,3,4,5 40.00 Week 8
