Module Description:This module provides the student with knowledge and skills to implement inter LAN and WAN routing using both static routing, distance vector and link state dynamic routing protocols and to implement, verify and troubleshoot networks, routing and switching operations
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Configure a switch using the Cisco IOS command set.
LO2 Configure a router using the Cisco IOS command set with static and dynamic routing
LO3 Evaluate distance vector concepts and operations, including network discovery, and routing table maintenance
LO4 Describe the benefits of VLSM along with the role and benefits of CIDR, design a VLSM addressing schema
LO5 Explain the lookup process, how the routing table process determines the best match with a packet’s destination IP address, and how to enter a route in the routing table
LO6 Evaluate link state concepts and operations
LO7 Describe a modern LAN design using Switches
LO8 Explain device discovery management and maintenance
