Module Description:The aim of this module is to develop an ability to apply probabilistic and statistical ideas in simple business settings.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Present large quantities of data in tabular and graphical form
LO2 Select and calculate suitable summary statistics for a given data set
LO3 Apply probability theory to simple business scenarios
LO4 Use sample data to make basic inferences about a population
