Module Description:This module develops the critical skills needed to compile, analyse, model and demonstrate data visualisation techniques using specific tools and technologies. This module explores and demonstrates the Human Computer Interaction principles and guidelines for modern interface design and user experience.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Develop the critical skills needed to compile, analyse, model and demonstrate data visualisation techniques using specific tools and technologies.
LO2 Design and develop rich media interactive visualisation interfaces e.g. dashboards.
LO3 Critically evaluate the effectiveness of a proposed interface based on best practices
LO4 Design and build a UI prototype based on best practice techniques.
