Module Description:This syllabus aims to provide a comprehensive and practical understanding of international tourism policy and planning.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Demonstrate an in depth understanding of the evolution of domestic and international tourism policy
LO2 Identify current issues to be addressed in tourism policy formulation
LO3 Evaluate the political framework for tourism in the European Union
LO4 Identify and evaluate the key demand and supply variables unique to the tourism sector
LO5 Develop capacity to draw complex information together and assess implications of proposed solutions
