Module Description:The student will learn how to solve a variety of linear programming problems which are the basis of a scientific approach to optimisation of management problems.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Formulate linear programming problems given as text and tables into inequalities/equations
LO2 Solve two variable problems using the graphical method
LO3 Use the Shortest Route and Minimal Spanning Tree Algorithms to solve network problems associated with supply chains
LO4 Solve basic Transportation and Assignment problems
