Module Description:This module describes the main concepts of software localisation, and explains what is involved in a typical localisation process. Common tools and techniques are examined, and the difficulties of software localisation from English to a European language will be described.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Describe the main concepts of software localisation.
LO2 Be able to perform localisation of software, website, and documentation.
LO3 Explain the different steps of a typical localisation process.
LO4 Be able to use selected key localisation tools available on the market.
