Module Description:The purpose of this module is for students to gain a broad understanding of work psychology and the context within which it operates.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Describe the key features of socio-cognitive approaches to understanding psychology in work.
LO2 Specify the functions of attitudes in the workplace.
LO3 Recognise different measures of performance management and training.
LO4 Compare and contrast the concepts of stress and positive wellbeing.
LO5 Understand the role of culture in change programmes.
LO6 Describe some of the challenges related to dispersed working and technology mediated communications.
