Module Description:The aim of this module is to provide students with the experience of taking a planned approach to working through an energy and environmental related problem from start to finish. It is required that the student exhibit skills required to obtain and interpret results comparing them against initial stated specification, aims and objectives.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Interpret an energy or environment related problem and develop objtecives, specification and a project plan based on initial customer (supervisor) specifications.
LO2 Develop an interim portfolio to include: Literature review, concept solutions, final proposed solution in detail and a plan for implementation of that solution.
LO3 Demonstrate a professional approach to design/modification, manufacture or testing resulting in a professional outcome.
LO4 Communicate project progress and outcomes through a variety of mediums at all stages of the project.
LO5 Manage a project to a professional standard at all times
